We are seeking a talented individual to join our Treaty Broking team at Guy Carpenter China. This role will be based in Beijing Office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

Support in maintaining and developing client relationship for existing clients and new clients
Support the best broking practice, which include client proposal, presentation, market submission & execution
Build and maintain good relations with reinsurers
Regular communication with client at counterpart level to collect client feedback, identify client need and gather market intelligence
Conduct market research and information collecting
Compile presentations and advisory documents under direction of a supervisor
Play an active role in GC client and market events to promote GC brand and enhance relationship with clients and markets as required
Any projects under the direction of management

What you need to have:

University graduate with Finance, Statistics, Economics, Risk Management, Math etc
Over 8 – 10 year experience in insurance / reinsurance industry
Experience in property and casualty insurance
Strong ability to work with colleagues effectively at all levels, must be a good team player
Well-versed in office software (word, excel, powerpoint)
