Role Purpose

• Work as a member of the validation team in planning, scheduling, testing requirements, and providing validation deliverables for cloud-based application systems
• Design test plans, write, and execute test cases for functional and qualification testing within the domain assigned
• Create test summary, qualification, customer facing reports and documents of high quality, with detailed content using excellent written language
• Manage and coordinate validation related tasks across multiple teams
• Collaborate in analysis and design, writing, executing and automating test cases for functional testing within the domain assigned. (SDF)

Required skills

• Computer Science and/ or Science-based bachelor’s degree
• 7+ years of overall experience
• Proficient English, written and verbal
• Experience with at least of automation tools like Selenium, Cypress or Playwright.
• Experience working in an agile/scrum environment
• Experience qualifying computer systems, software, or cloud-based applications
• Excellent understanding of Quality Assurance life cycle, methodologies and best practices
• Excellent knowledge in tracking project tasks, and test case management using systems such as Jira, Zephyr.
• Experience working in continuous integration/continuous deployment model
• Experience in writing protocols, test documentation, risk analysis, defect analysis, tracking and reporting.

Desired skills

• Experience in test documentation, defect analysis, tracking and reporting, and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) approach
• Knowledge in test case management and bug tracking systems such as Jira, Zephyr
• Experience working in an agile/scrum environment
• Ability to effectively communicate with multiple levels in the organization
• Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships
