About the Job:
The Process Improvement Senior Analyst supports the design, planning, and execution of improvements to systems and processes that improve operations, with a focus on data collection and translation into actionable insights. This position will also serve as a resource on cross-functional initiatives to ensure impact to operations is defined and measured, as well as ensuring implementation is supported. The Process Improvement Sr. Analyst will also provide program and project management to continuous improvement programs and onboarding of new clients. This position will support all aspects of key projects and initiatives which will contribute to the continued growth and optimization of the organization.
In This Role, You Will: • Analyze operational processes using process mapping, six sigma tools, and general analysis to identify improvement opportunities related to efficiency, safety, and service. • Warehouse and facility design to optimize capacity and efficiency. • Conduct business analysis using internal data as well as external sources to design solutions, establish and track project budgets and measure the effectiveness of both current operations and potential future processes. • Serve as the voice of operations in cross-functional projects involving the design, configuration, deployment and testing of diverse initiatives across all areas of the business with an emphasis on WMS/TMS related projects. • Proactively provide detailed, organized, and comprehensive updates to maintain project plans to ensure that projects are achieved on time, with superior adoption, and in line with budgetary guidelines. • Perform analysis and provide leadership on division specific procurement initiatives: Conduct RFPs, fleet management, utilization reporting. • Utilization of data available across the organization to develop and implement KPI reporting, Standard Work Times, and Labor Planning. • Mentor and facilitator on lean methodologies including but not limited to: 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream/Process Mapping, Kanban. • Management of Continuous Improvement and Quality Programs, SOP Compliance, and employee onboarding programs. • Act as a subject matter expert for operational processes, to support other departments as a resource, including Training, Communication and Support. • Leverage change management and leadership skills to create buy-in on new processes, programs, and initiatives. Ability to develop partnerships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. • Act as a project manager on the onboarding of new clients, ensuring that stakeholders across the organization are completing tasks timely and professionally. • All other duties and projects assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, industrial engineering, or operations/supply chain management is preferred • 3+ years of experience preferred. • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel & PowerPoint, and Power BI. • Experience with data and statistical analysis • Problem Solving: Identifies effective and efficient solutions for complex problems. Looks beyond the obvious and collects and interprets data alongside critical thinking to drive for superior results. • Analytical Ability: Able to quickly learn Odyssey databases and determine what data to retrieve to reach necessary conclusions. Able to then evaluate diverse data sets (financial results, operational and other metrics, survey feedback, etc.) and determine cause/effect relationships. Able to isolate key information and determine the impact of process or procedure changes. • Business Acumen: Able to quickly learn the principal aspects of Odyssey Logistics business model and operational processes, and how they affect operations. Understands both the vision and executional-level detail of business practices, trends, and policies. • Presentation Skills: Is effective in a variety of settings and with a range of audiences – one on one, small and large groups, peers, leadership, field and corporate partners. • Dealing with Ambiguity: Able to drive for results and manage changing scope. Can quickly adapt to evolving business needs and priorities. • Ability to Work Independently: Self-motivated and self-led. Seeks out opportunities to contribute by leveraging available resources while maintaining responsibilities and meeting expectations. • Planning & Priority Setting: Juggles multiple projects with competing deadlines and objectives. Accurately anticipates and estimates the work required and resources available to forecast realistic timelines and deadlines focused to ensure critical tasks are prioritized appropriately. Organizes all work in a manner that ensures projects move swiftly while balancing workload. Holds self and others accountable to deadlines. • Preferred Experience: Software implementation, operational process improvement, instructional design/communication and/or financial analysis experience is a plus. • Driving Results: Provides a well-rounded business justification for efforts of various sizing and scopes. Proposes SMART KPIs and builds a comprehensive ROI inclusive of qualitative and quantitative returns that align with Odyssey’s strategic priorities.
Location: This is a Remote position and must reside in the surrounding areas of Fife, WA or Fullerton, CA.
As required by applicable Pay Transparency laws, Odyssey provides a range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in locations under these requirements. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include a wide array of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic location, or other relevant factors. The salary range for this position may be lower or higher in different markets. Compensation: $70,000–$91,000 annually, plus bonus eligibility. Actual pay will vary based on geographic location and experience.
