We are looking to expand our amazing roster with a Web Back End Engineer that is well-versed in Node.js and Express.js and is located in Latin America, preferably in Costa Rica. As we are currently working with multiple companies on many different products, we have quite a few projects where someone like you could make a difference.
We are looking for:
- 9+ years of experience developing web applications.
- 9+ years of experience in Node.js, NestJS, Express.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience building both REST and GraphQL (Apollo) APIs.
- Experience with AWS and setting up and/or maintaining and optimizing deployment pipelines using: Serverless services on AWS, IaC(CloudFormation/SAM)IaC (CloudFormation/SAM), DynamoDB, RDS (Postgres), and EKS/Kubernetes.
- Experience with database management, architected data heavy applications from scratch, experience with Database and Schema design, worked with both relational and NoSQL databases, have knowledge in optimizing queries, and able to leverage Materialized Views in Postgres.
- Experience building and/or maintaining a CI/CD pipeline for more efficient deployment to a serverless AWS environment.
- Strong agile/scrum development experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
