Job Title: Senior Director, Implementation

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a senior director, you would provide strategic leadership and direction to 2 to 4 managers or directors responsible for teams implementing IT solutions for clients. You'd guide your teams in understanding client needs, setting project goals, and ensuring successful implementation. This position will manage 2-4 high-performing managers or directors leading implementations teams of engineers including developers and QA. The senior director will focus on scaling the implementations by improving the Implementation process, responsible for quality deliverables, and resolving roadblocks for the team.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

SCOPE: Full Functional Ownership and 2-4 Teams, represents larger function when needed, focus-shift to external within the organization and our customers

  • Recruiting and Onboarding
  • Architect dynamic talent reservoirs, ensuring the organization can swiftly scale and pivot in response to evolving market needs, all while maintaining a premium talent bench.
  • Drive strategic alliances in the talent sourcing space, leveraging relationships and insights to maintain the organization's pole position in the talent race.
  • Team Management and Performance Enhancement:
  • Partner closely with executive leadership, offering guidance on organization design, talent optimization, and change management, aligning them with multiyear business strategies.
  • Spearhead the adoption innovative technologies and solutions to transform and elevate talent processes across the organization
  • Data-Driven Insights
  • Facilitate the use of predictive analytics to craft talent strategies and optimize workforce planning.
  • Monitor and optimize the ROI of talent initiatives, and deployment.
  • Champion strategies to ensure alignment with overarching business outcomes and drive collaboration with executive team to make informed decisions.
  • Technical Oversight & Strategy
  • Build strategic partnerships with external organizations, academic institutions, and industry leaders to stay abreast of the latest in talent management techniques and technologies.
  • Engage in research collaborations and mentorship programs, ensuring access to evolving tech talent pipelines.
  • Cultural Advocacy & Alignment
  • Facilitate alignment of all talent initiatives with the company's overarching mission, vision, and values.
  • Uphold the highest standards of ethics in all talent management practices, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory mandates.
  • Information Management and Dissemination:
  • Craft and deliver compelling narratives to senior leadership and stakeholders, detailing talent strategies, initiatives, and outcomes.

  • Implementation Specific Responsibilities
  • Manage implementation and partner teams to ensure the schedules for delivery are actively managed and communicated
  • Proactively drive partnerships with cross-departmental/cross-organizational teams to prepare and enable Technology teams to deliver solutions more efficiently, more effectively, and on the needed timelines
  • Drives efforts to instill, develop, mature, and maintain Best Practices across Technology teams
  • Takes ownership of larger organizational responsibilities and special projects acting on behalf of Senior Leadership in Technology space
  • Proactively investigates and implements new measures & monitors to drive earlier detection of potential issues and leverages data to teach teams to build more resilient systems.
  • Responsible for contributing functional strategies that are aligned to and best enable the organizational goals
  • Change Leader: Lead by example, lead through education, lead through demonstrating a deep and broad pool of experience that can be adapted to new situations
  • Develop cross-organizational relationships to identify, develop, and/or deliver process, tooling, and people changes to drive better organizational outcomes
  • Make decisions on which 3rd party vendors we need to do business with to achieve our desired outcomes, developing business plans in collaboration with peers, getting plans approved, and implementing them
  • Leverage your deep and broad domain, industry, product, technical, and process knowledge to provide targeted instruction for your direct reports to close their gaps and in developing strategies to tackle functional, organizational, and Business objectives
  • Represents Caremetx and Technology with our customers, comfortable in working sessions, strategy sessions, sales meetings, and in accountability meetings (defects, failures to deliver, etc.)
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance, including being present, on time, and prepared for work as scheduled.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Previous experience in a specialty pharmacy, medical insurance, reimbursement hub experience, physician’s office, healthcare setting, and/or insurance background preferred
  2. Two or more years as a Director with experience managing multiple teams
