Job Description for Bookkeeper

Scope

• Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm Pittsburgh, PA time with a 30-minute unpaid break
  
• Full ownership of the account reconciliation process
  
• Collaboration with your external accounting firm that oversees the books
  
• Working within established financial systems and processes
  
• Remote work as an integrated team member
  
• Supporting financial accuracy and compliance
  

Responsibilities

• Complete reconciliation of all accounts including bank statements, credit cards, and Shopify to order amounts
  
• Prepare and generate trial balance at month end
  
• Review AR/AP processes and transactions
  
• Note or bring missing transactions to your attention
  
• Maintain complete ownership of the reconciliation process
  
• Ensure transactions are properly recorded in the Odoo system
  

Requirements

• MUST HAVE experience with Odoo ERP software, specifically with reconciliation and trial balance functions
  
• Senior level bookkeeping experience
• Accounting degree or equivalent qualification
  
• Previous experience in bookkeeping and financial reconciliation
  
• Knowledge of US accounting practices
  
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
