Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM (LA – PST), including a 1-hour unpaid break.

A Senior Accountant is a vital asset to any organization, responsible not only for accurately documenting daily financial activities but also for providing valuable insights through the analysis and interpretation of financial data. Their role is crucial in presenting this information meaningfully to internal management teams as well as external entities such as tax agencies and regulatory bodies.
Responsibilities
Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with established financial standards and regulations.
Develop, implement, and maintain financial databases, accounting software systems, and manual filing systems.
Prepare and analyze budgets, comparing budgeted versus actual costs.
Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to forecast future revenues and expenses.
Provide strategic financial recommendations based on thorough financial analysis.
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies to ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant.
Collaborate with management teams to support data-driven financial decisions.
Stay updated on the latest financial and tax regulations to ensure company practices align with statutory requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5 to 10 years of relevant accounting experience.
Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and related tools.
Advanced analytical and numerical abilities.
High ethical standards and professional integrity.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Experience handling financial accounting for international or country-specific clients.
Advanced proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, FreshBooks, MYOB, etc.
Holding a professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA.
Familiarity with financial regulations and standards in specific countries or regions.
Experience conducting internal and external audits.
