Job Description

Step into an exciting role where you’ll be at the forefront of government contract acquisition and proposal development. As a Government Contract Research Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in identifying and pursuing valuable federal contracting opportunities through SAM.gov, with a focus on long-term facility management contracts. This position offers the perfect blend of research, analysis, and relationship building, as you’ll work directly with subcontractors to develop competitive proposals for government contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify promising government contract opportunities on SAM.gov, with a focus on long-term facility management projects
  • Analyze contract requirements and specifications to determine project scope and potential
  • Conduct outreach to subcontractors and vendors to gather accurate pricing information
  • Prepare comprehensive coverage documentation for contract submissions
  • Compile and format professional proposal documents for government submission
  • Maintain detailed records of contract opportunities and submission status
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure proposal accuracy and competitiveness


Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Proficiency in navigating and searching government contract databases, particularly SAM.gov
  • Professional communication skills for interacting with subcontractors and team members
  • Experience in document preparation and proposal writing
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Basic understanding of government contracting processes (preferred)
  • Comfortable making professional phone calls and conducting business correspondence
