As a QA Engineer with GLOBO, you will help our teams ensure that our applications as high quality and error-free as possible. Our clients rely on us to deliver high quality error-free experiences 24x7. In this role, you will work with our engineering teams and other teams at GLOBO to ensure that new products and features meet the needs of our teams and clients. This role will give you a mix of manual and automated testing, allowing you to continue developing your skills in multiple areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create comprehensive test cases for new features, and update test cases as features change
- Validate and Document production bugs reported in support tickets or automated error collection systems.
- Create and execute automated Unit, Integration, UI, and API test cases
- Execute manual test cases and document any identified bugs
- Recommend improvements in our applications to improve operability and useability
- Work with our engineering and operations during deployments to ensure successful platform upgrades.
Your attention to detail, clear communication skills and ensuring the highest quality of products that serve a valuable function in society gets you up in the morning. You like working with a smart team and enjoy collaborating with like-minded people to build truly useful technology.
Stepping into this role, you'll leverage your 2+ years of QA experience to develop repeatable documentation, implement integration testing, and communicate clearly the issues you uncover. You’re confident working independently and enjoy working collaboratively to build truly useful products.
You're a generally curious person, eager to learn, and solving complex problems is your jam. That plus your wealth of technical knowledge will lead to your success. We believe a great communicator and creative problem solver is preferable to an expert in our specific stack. You will appreciate a healthy dose of automation but enjoy rolling up your sleeves to dig in and execute tests the old fashioned way.
