Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Project Manager to support the National Hub Operations within the IMT Workstream. This role is central to managing and improving intake, routing, tracking, and closure processes for issues impacting the Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) initiative. The ideal candidate will be adept at using operational data to generate insights, track performance, and support enterprise-wide improvements that reduce risk and enhance patient safety.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Operational Oversight: Support end-to-end lifecycle of issue intake, triage, tracking, and closure across the National Hub. Ensure workflows are consistent, transparent, and optimized to support stakeholder and patient needs.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Mine and analyze operational and workload data to extract meaningful insights. Develop and validate performance metrics, trends, and workload dashboards to guide leadership decisions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Identify emerging bottlenecks or inefficiencies within routing and closure workflows and recommend initiatives to address them.
  • Issue Prioritization & Strategy: Recommend and help implement special initiatives to re-prioritize or group issues, particularly those that may have downstream effects on patient safety or EHRM system functionality.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline intake and tracking processes, implement change initiatives, and create sustainable solutions that reduce turnaround time for issue resolution.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with internal Aptive teams, government clients, and program stakeholders to ensure alignment on issue resolution priorities and workflow enhancements.
  • Documentation & Communication: Maintain clear documentation of workflow processes, project updates, metrics, and stakeholder communications.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in project management, preferably within a healthcare, government, or enterprise IT setting. Experience working with intake or tracking systems strongly preferred.
  • Oracle Cerner Knowledge: Understanding of Oracle Cerner systems, including experience with electronic health records (EHR) workflows, data integration, and system configuration. Proven ability to support healthcare operations and enhance clinical efficiency through effective use of Cerner solutions.
  • Oracle Health Informatics: Demonstrated experience leveraging Oracle EHR/Cerner to manage, analyze, and optimize clinical and operational healthcare data. Proven ability to support informed decision-making and improve issue management outcomes through data-driven insights.
  • Oracle Cerner Knowledge: Understanding of Oracle Cerner systems, including experience with electronic health records (EHR) workflows, data integration, and system configuration. Proven ability to support healthcare operations and enhance clinical efficiency through effective use of Cerner solutions.
  • Analytical Thinking: Proven ability to interpret and synthesize operational data to inform decisions and drive value-added reporting.
  • Process Improvement: Familiarity with Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus. Ability to evaluate and recommend practical improvements to processes and workflows.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, especially when interfacing with leadership and stakeholders.
  • Technical Acumen: Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel and PowerPoint); experience with project management platforms like Jira, ServiceNow, or similar issue management systems a plus.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing multiple workstreams and deliverables.
