Responsibilities
- Deliver multiple Mid/Large projects as prioritized by the Sponsor/Product Owner, on time, within budget, and with quality.
- Lead the team through Waterfall and/or Agile delivery methodologies. Ensure project scope and goals are clear for the team and remove impediments that hinder project progress.
- Build positive and productive working relationships with the project team, internal customers, and partners. Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, across both business and NTS functions.
- Facilitate Project/Scrum events (Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Demos, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives). Support the Product Owner in managing the Backlog.
- Apply negotiation skills and conflict resolution strategies to work with multiple stakeholders, internal teams, and vendors to gain buy-in and support for appropriate solutions, improve team efficiency, and ensure project success.
- Develop detailed project plans, provide regular progress reporting, and manage the change control process.
- Perform complex analysis, feasibility studies, and needs/impact assessments as required.
- Prepare and present project status updates and other presentations to the project team and stakeholders, including various levels of Senior Management.
- Secure project funding through the NTS IPC gating process. Manage due diligence activities and drive approvals from the working team, Directors, and Executive levels.
- Manage the monthly project funding lifecycle—derive and input monthly cost estimates into appropriate systems for forecasting, budget tracking, analysis, and communication.
- Use best-practice risk management by assessing risks in an informed and considered manner, planning risk mitigations, and communicating all project risks.
- Motivate the team and share accountability for project success.
- Follow all corporate standards and best practices.
Qualifications
Core Competencies (Must-have Competencies)
- 5-10 years of proven Project Management delivery experience involving multi-tiered system integration
- Strong understanding of reporting metrics and financial/budget management. (Majority of project delivery should be $1M or greater)
- Experience in managing monthly project funding lifecycle - derive and input monthly cost estimate into appropriate systems for forecasting, budget results tracking, analysis and communication
- Demonstrated success in project planning, execution, and control.
- Strong leadership skills; a self-starter who works autonomously.
- Ability to gain management support and collaborate effectively at all levels and across departments within the organization.
- Comfortable handling ambiguity and rapid change in a dynamic, fluid team environment.
- Skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution to work with multiple stakeholders, internal teams, and vendors to secure buy-in and ensure project success.
Complementary Competencies (Good-to-have Competencies)
- Proficient in using tools including MS Office products, JIRA, Confluence, and SAP.
- Demonstrated experience in billing, delivering, and executing key projects through cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of the telecommunications industry.
Educational Qualification/s
- University degree or equivalent post secondary education
- Project Management Institute (PMP) or comparable certification
- Scrum Master Certification such as Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®), Professional Scrum Master™ (PSM®), SAFe® Scrum Master Certification (SSM®)
Work Conditions
- 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM Manila Time - Monday to Friday
- Weekends required for project deployments as needed; flexible on Fridays
