GDIT is seeking a Program Financial Analyst to provide support on our Defense Enterprise Office Solution (DEOS) Cloud Service Offering contract.
This position is a 100% remote position.
How a Program Financial Analyst will make an impact:
Analyzing financial information (e.g. revenues, expenditures) to ensure all operations are within budget.
Presenting annual budgets to senior managers.
Forecasting future budget needs.
Assist with charge codes and create project work authorizations.
Developing organizational budgets with managers.
Submit, Review and Quality check purchase request, vendor quotes and supporting documentation for completeness, accuracy and compliance with company standards.
Maintain Funds Accountability. Account for all funds so that the total funds allocated as per original contract and amendments are fully reflected in the financial reporting.
Create Expenditure Reports as needed.
Produce Timesheet reports.
Track and report subcontractor funding balances.
Lead weekly operations and finance cross organization meetings.
Collaborate with and assist Lead Financial Manager as needed.
Maintain Personnel Filling System.
Assist Personnel In / Out Processing as it relates to finances.
Track and Maintain employee metrics.
Selected candidate is required to perform other additional duties and assignments in support of the contract.
What you’ll need to succeed (Required):
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience required.
Active or ability to obtain Secret security clearance required.
Knowledgeable with Federal Acquisition, FEDMALL and Govt Purchasing.
Advanced knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing assigned purchase orders and proposals, including FAR, DFAR, and CAS including expertise with negotiations of terms, price and cost analysis, commercial item determination, and sourcing.
Substantially advanced decision-making skills including the development, communication and enforcement of company policies and procedures for purchasing.
Familiar with DoD Contracts, counting systems and budget analysis procedures, with responsibility for analyzing and advising on a variety of financial policies and procedures.
