About the role
We are seeking a hands-on Product Owner to lead the development and optimization of our websites. The ideal candidate will excel in team leadership and data-driven decision-making. We’re looking for someone with a strong SEO, iGaming Content, and WordPress background.
This position can be 100% remote worldwide.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead Cross-Functional Teams:
- Facilitate Communication: Organize regular meetings and check-ins with content, design, and development teams to ensure everyone is aligned on website strategies and goals.
- Task Management: Utilize ClickUp to create and manage project timelines. Assign specific tasks to team members with clear, actionable instructions and deadlines.
- Follow-Up and Accountability: Implement a system for tracking progress and provide timely follow-ups to ensure tasks are completed on schedule, addressing any roadblocks that may arise.
2. Manage Content Management Systems (CMS):
- CMS Optimization: Oversee the configuration and management of the CMS to enhance user experience and optimize for SEO best practices (e.g., meta tags, alt text).
- Content Workflow Management: Develop and maintain workflows within the CMS to streamline content creation, review, and publication processes.
3. Manage iGaming Content:
- Content Strategy: Oversee the creation, curation, and optimization of iGaming content, including brand reviews and industry updates, ensuring alignment with player interests and market trends.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, design, and SEO teams to deliver engaging and high-performing content tailored to target audiences.
- Industry Awareness: Stay updated on iGaming trends, competitor activities, and regional compliance to maintain a competitive and relevant content strategy.
4. Oversee SEO Processes:
- On-Page Optimization: Ensure all website content is optimized for SEO best practices, including keyword integration, meta tags, and alt text, to enhance search visibility and user engagement.
- Technical SEO Management: Collaborate with the development team to optimize site architecture, fix crawl issues, and improve site speed for better search engine performance.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting: Use SEO tools to monitor keyword rankings and organic traffic, providing regular reports and actionable insights to stakeholders for continuous improvement.
5. Build and Improve Processes:
- Process Mapping: Analyze current workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement, creating clear documentation for new processes.
- Training and Onboarding: Develop training materials and conduct sessions to onboard team members on new processes and tools, ensuring consistency and understanding across teams.
6. Analyze User Experience:
- Metrics Evaluation: Regularly assess key user experience metrics (e.g., bounce rates, session duration) and site performance data (e.g., load times, error rates).
- User Feedback Collection: Implement tools (e.g., surveys, user testing) to gather feedback directly from users, synthesizing insights to inform design and content updates.
- Actionable Insights: Provide detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations for design and content adjustments aimed at enhancing user engagement.
7. Monitor Site Performance:
- Analytics Review: Conduct regular reviews of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track traffic patterns, user behavior, and conversion metrics.
- Issue Identification: Quickly identify and diagnose performance issues (e.g., page load times, broken links) and work with relevant teams to implement fixes.
- Continuous Improvement: Develop a culture of continuous improvement by presenting data-driven recommendations to stakeholders for enhancing website performance.
8. Implement A/B Testing:
- Testing Strategy Development: Design and execute A/B tests for key website elements (e.g., CTAs, landing pages, layouts) to gauge their impact on user engagement and conversion rates.
- Data Analysis: Analyze test results using statistical methods to determine the most effective variations and report findings to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
Qualifications
- Experience in product ownership or content management roles.
- Strong knowledge of iGaming trends, SEO best practices, and user experience principles.
- Proficiency with tools like ClickUp, Google Analytics, and CMS platforms.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
