What you'll be doing
- Audio Editing:
- Clean and enhance audio recordings, including noise reduction, equalization, and compression.
- episodes for clarity, pacing, and flow, ensuring a seamless listener experience.
- Incorporate music, sound effects, and transitions as needed.
- Ensure final audio meets technical specifications for various platforms (e.g., Apple Podcasts, Spotify).
- Video Editing:
- Edit video recordings of podcast episodes for distribution on platforms such as YouTube, social media, and Spotify.
- Synchronize audio and video for a polished final product.
- Add visual elements such as intros/outros, graphics, lower thirds, and captions.
- Content Optimization:
- Format and export content for various distribution channels.
- Create teasers, clips, and highlight reels to promote episodes on social media platforms.
- Stay updated on the latest editing tools and techniques to ensure optimal efficiency and quality.
- Monitor trends in podcast production and recommend improvements to enhance quality and engagement.
What you'll need
- Proven experience in podcast editing, with a portfolio of audio and video projects.
- Experience with audio editing for podcasts, ensuring clean sound quality and seamless integration of audio and video.
- Proficiency in audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Audacity, Pro Tools, etc.) and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
- Strong understanding of audio and video formats, codecs, and export settings.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Bonus: Knowledge of motion graphics or animation is a plus.
- Availability from 7am-10am Pacific time
