Plumbing Apprentice - Reading/Oxford Areas

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Ability to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues
• Clear CRB/DBS Disclosure
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a team or as a lone worker
• Good listening skills – with the ability to absorb and follow all information
• Ability to learn and develop new skills on the job in order to complete tasks effectively
• IT knowledge – to use ipad technology and Opuz systems effectively
• To attend site in a timely way in-line with client and team requirements
• To be aware of personal appearance and maintain good standards of cleanliness
• Keep van tidy and clean and drive with respect and courtesy for other road users
• To develop and maintain skills levels as required by SMS
• To assist in carrying out all Plumbing tasks as scheduled in conjunction with SMS Method Statements
• To ensure all tasks are carried out with due regard for health and safety guidelines
• To know when to request help and guidance with work related issues
• Complete tasks accurately using Opuz and providing all relevant associated information

Requirements

• Experience of working in plumbing within commercial and domestic environments
• Driving licence
• Health Safety knowledge–including working at height
