Job Description

Responsibilities
- Manage back-end billing tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations
- Oversee inventory ordering from multiple suppliers, developing strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce costs
- Conduct comprehensive price comparisons across various suppliers to identify the most cost-effective options, contributing to the pharmacy’s financial health
- Master and utilize specialized pharmacy software, staying at the forefront of technological advancements in the field
- Collaborate with the team to optimize the real-time billing process, enhancing speed and accuracy of transactions
- Maintain meticulous records and contribute to data management efforts, ensuring all information is up-to-date and easily accessible
- Proactively identify areas for improvement in back-end operations and propose innovative solutions
Requirements
- Medical background strongly preferred, with specific experience in pharmacy or a closely related field (but training will be provided)
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proven track record of maintaining high accuracy in complex tasks
- Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced proficiency in computer systems and a demonstrated aptitude for quickly learning new software
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in articulating questions and seeking clarification on complex issues
- Strong initiative and the ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining high productivity
- Understanding of HIPAA compliance and data security protocols in a healthcare setting
- Ability to think critically and analytically to solve problems and optimize processes
