YOUR IMPACT
As an OSP ROW Agent, you will play a critical role in the successful execution of outside plant (OSP) and central office equipment (COE) projects by coordinating right-of-way (ROW) access and supporting engineering work order development. Your expertise ensures that our network expansions and upgrades comply with legal, regulatory, and property access requirements. You’ll be the bridge between engineering design and field implementation, enabling the deployment of voice and data infrastructure across both private and government-owned property.
CORE RESPONSBILITIES
Engineering Support & Documentation:
Engineer routine and specific COE/OSP work orders in support of network plant provisioning
Conduct field work to validate designs and gather required site information
Prepare work order drawings, documentation, and estimated placement expenditures
Perform data entry and update records in support systems with accuracy and timeliness
Analyze reports and maintain current and accurate engineering documentation
ROW & Permitting:
Read and interpret engineering drawings, legal descriptions, and parcel maps
Research property titles and records to confirm ownership and access rights
Negotiate and secure rights-of-way, easements, and permits with private and public stakeholders
Perform basic appraisals and adhere to company constraints when obtaining access agreements
Ensure all access documentation aligns with legal, regulatory, and project requirements
CORE EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 2 years of experience in COE/OSP engineering, including work order development and support systems
Minimum of 3 years of experience in right-of-way acquisition, including easement negotiation and permit coordination
Strong functional knowledge of OSP/COE principles, industry standards, and work order processes
Proficiency in engineering drawing tools, computer-aided drafting systems, and PC applications (Excel, Word, mapping software)
Proven ability to read and interpret legal descriptions, plats, and engineering drawings
Familiarity with local permitting agencies, landowner negotiations, and ROW documentation practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects independently
Ability to travel for field work as required
PAY RANGE: $38.00 HOURLY
