DFS is looking for a detail-oriented Mortgage Funder to join our growing team.

- Document Review: Thoroughly review executed mortgage documents to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Exception Handling: Identify and address any exceptions or discrepancies in the executed documents, work with title companies to resolve issues promptly.
- Funding Authorization: Provide final approval and authorization for the disbursement of funds once all executed documents are received and exceptions are satisfied.
- Communicate with loan processors, and title companies to obtain necessary documentation and clarify any outstanding issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all funding transactions and related communications.
- Problem Resolution: Proactively identify potential issues and implement solutions to prevent delays in the funding process
- Provide exceptional service to internal and external clients by addressing inquiries and providing timely updates on the funding status.
- Previous experience working in a high-volume mortgage environment.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing documents and identifying discrepancies.
