Now Hiring: Key Account Manager – Industrial Water Treatment Location: Field-based, Scotland Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

As part of our continued growth in the EMEA region, we are seeking a Key Account Manager to join our Industrial Water Treatment Sales team in Scotland. This is a field-based role reporting to the Area Manager for UK North & Ireland.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts in line with Solenis' commercial strategy and business objectives
  • Provide technical support and account management for influent water treatment, cooling tower, boiler, and wastewater applications
  • Deliver customer value projects with a focus on energy and water savings
  • Lead Legionella compliance programmes in collaboration with clients
  • Handle sales processes including new business implementation, order follow-ups, and troubleshooting
  • Liaise with engineering, procurement, and technical stakeholders across customer sites
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of all account activities
  • Balance responsibilities between new business development (approx. 40%) and key account management (approx. 60%)

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience)
  • Proven sales experience in the water treatment industry is preferred
  • Technical knowledge of boiler and/or cooling water treatment and associated regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and make informed decisions
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
  • Fluent in English, with a full UK driving license
  • Willingness to travel regularly across central Scotland
