We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Production Coordinator to take ownership of our end-to-end production process across all categories. Job Highlights:
  • Contract type: Independent Contractor
  • Work schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8 hours per day, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Sydney Time with an hour unpaid break

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for managing and administering the production of Antipodean products across all categories, ensuring Antipodean standards are maintained and delivered through product quality, price and manufacturing processes. Ensuring consistencies across the entire collection, while maintaining delivery of product into retail stores and Wholesale customer accounts in full and on time.
  • Work closely with design, buying, garment tech and logistics teams to ensure high quality products are delivered and price architecture for bulk is in line with the company expectations and parameters
  • Product development including sample management, approving lab dips, fabric testing, fit comments, grading, organising care labels, ordering barcodes and trims, factory planning (both brands)
  • Sourcing new factories ensuring factory audits are been carried out as well as new supplier onboarding forms are signed.
  • Managing repair returns trackers with online wholesale partners
  • Negotiate prices, delivery dates and minimum order quantities on raw materials, samples and finished goods, ensuring profit margins were met
  • Raised purchase orders for finished goods and sent out order confirmations to the vendors to secure deliveries
  • Managed the production and development calendars, ensuring key deadlines were met
  • Manage the production supplier artwork manual
  • Coordinate production from a surface design perspective (manage surface designer, chase patterns; hand over’s to factory)
  • Review inventory ledger against PO’s to ensure accurate bulk deliveries (occasional scanning of bulk when needed)
  • Oversee production trackers and ensure are kept up to date
  • Manage pattern makers priorities and work flows ensuring high quality products and streamlined communications with factories.
  • Care label; barcode creation; hand over to factories
  • Communication and handover of assets to wholesale agent. Oversee the arrival, receipt, and dispatch of bulk goods to international partners including International packing list generation as per wholesale order confirmations. Prepare order confirmations for international partners.
  • Manage all invoices from development to production stages
  • Cross quote comparison for bulk good logistics; booking in goods for pick up
  • Directly reporting into the General Manager and working closely with the Creative director to ensure design vision has been executed.
  • Oversee and implement sustainable business milestones


Requirements

  • An interest in work requiring high attention to detail
  • Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, adobe suite is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers & Antipodean team members
  • Extremely organized and excellent attention to detail
  • Have a thorough understanding of garment construction and surface design
  • A broad knowledge of the design and production process and the ability to implement processes to streamline the business independently
  • A passion for sustainability
  • Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Be able to combine both creative and technical skills
  • Collaboratively work with team members and work closely with Creative Director
  • Ability to work with independently and in a team environment
  • Can easily pivot according to the business’s requirements
