KIXEYE is seeking a resourceful and enthusiastic game developer to join our teams working on our genre defining MMORTS games. Released over a decade ago, War Commander and Battle Pirates continue to be leaders in the MMORTS space, bringing complex strategy gameplay to thousands of dedicated players.
Ideally you are a full stack developer familiar with the gamut of application development languages and tools. Our technology stacks include PHP, C++, Scala, and Haxe, and as a live ops game with a large audience, comprehensive devops skills are an asset as well.
We're looking for excellence in software engineering, superior communication skills, and a great attitude for working in a team of highly talented people. A genuine love for gaming is a huge asset, as is understanding player needs and strategy game mechanics.

What you bring to the role:
- Experience or knowledge in one or more tools such as C++, Scala, PHP, AS3, Python, JavaScript, Haxe, OpenFL, and SQL.
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 3+ years of commercial development experience with at least one shipped game.
- Experience with common data structures and algorithmic solutions.
- Able to meet deliverables and drive your work to completion within specified timelines.
- Familiarity with SVN, Git, Perforce or other VCS.
- Great communication skills both written and verbal.
- Knowledge and passion for interactive entertainment and games are preferred.
