Responsibilities
- Assist in the freight audit and payment process, ensuring all freight bills are accurately audited, processed, and paid in a timely manner.
- Support the utilization of 3GTMS to optimize shipping operations and ensure data accuracy in the transportation management system.
- Aid in managing relationships with carriers and vendors, assisting in compliance with contracts and resolving payment discrepancies.
- Contribute to the implementation and utilization of TriumphPay to streamline payment processes and improve transaction transparency.
- Collaborate with IT and senior team members to address any system issues, ensuring smooth operation of software tools.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of internal controls and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Participate in analyzing transportation and freight cost data to identify trends, savings opportunities, and efficiency improvements.
- Provide support to the team on the use of transportation management and payment systems.
- Assist in preparing regular reports for management on freight payment trends, issues, and performance metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or related field.
- +2 years of experience in a related field, with exposure to freight audit and payment processes being a plus.
- Familiarity with software such as 3GTMS and TriumphPay is desirable.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
