Job Title: D365 Senior Functional Consultant

Location: Home based (UK) with travel to customer sites

Salary: £50,000 - £75,000 DOE

About the role

As a Dynamics 365 Senior Functional Consultant at ARO, you will be responsible for providing D365 Power Platform solutions to our clients. You will work closely with our customers to understand their business processes and requirements, and then translate those into effective user story definitions.
Your role will involve requirement definition with customers then leading implementation of D365 modules, as well as providing training and support to end-users. You will also collaborate with other team members, to deliver projects, namely a Technical Consultant and supporting team of Functional Consultants.
Overall, as a D365 Senior Functional Consultant, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients optimize their business processes and achieve their goals using the power of Microsoft Dynamics 365.

This role is home based, but will require travel to ARO offices or customer sites when required.

What you’ll do

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes and requirements
• Configure and customize D365 Power Platform modules based on client needs
• Implement D365 Power Platform solutions and provide training and support
• Work with our Program Lead to deliver customer projects with the support of a team of consultants
• Provide expertise in D365 first party module functionality and best practices
• Identify opportunities for improvement and optimization in our customer's processes, add value by challenging them and recommend improvements
• Stay up-to-date with the latest D365 features, updates, and trends
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and act as a trusted advisor

Requirements

What we are looking for?

Essential:

• Proven experience as a Functional Consultant in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Power Platform (minimum 4 years)
• Strong understanding of D365 modules and functionality, including relevant Microsoft Certification
• Ability to gather and analyse business requirements
• Experience in configuring and customizing within the Power Platform
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customer stakeholders
• Problem-solving mindset and strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to travel to client sites as needed

Desirable:

• Experience working with Azure DevOps
• Experience working with Story Pointed Agile Delivery
• Hands on experience with PowerBI report and Dashboard development
• A desire to engage in ARO events and champion the Power Platform
