Job Category

We are seeking a seasoned industry professional to join our team as Director of Client Sales, focused on expanding our partnerships within the Life and Health insurance industry. This senior-level role will be dedicated to business development—owning the full advertiser sales cycle from prospecting through deal close—while helping define and execute the broader sales strategy in a fast-moving and competitive landscape.

The ideal candidate brings a deep network of insurance contacts, particularly in Life and Health, and has a proven track record of strategic deal-making, contract negotiation, and performance marketing. This is a high-impact role suited for a consultative seller with strong business acumen and a passion for building long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the GMs of Life and Health to define and drive the vertical’s partnership and sales strategy
  • Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, proposal development, presentations, contract negotiations, and deal execution
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of advertiser opportunities, maintaining accurate forecasts and CRM records
  • Deliver best-in-class communication and support to partners, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor
  • Negotiate complex deals, manage contract redlines, and ensure a high-quality and timely execution process
  • Work closely with Account Management to ensure a smooth handoff and long-term client success
  • Partner with the Creative team to prepare compelling marketing and pitch decks
  • Provide market feedback and industry insights to internal teams to help shape our offerings
  • Travel up to 20–30% to attend industry events and meet with clients

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business development or advertiser sales, with a focus on closing large strategic deals
  • Proven background and existing network in Life and Health Insurance is strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing models (e.g., clicks, leads, calls)
  • Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals
  • Skilled in consultative sales, identifying client pain points and delivering tailored solutions
  • Extensive experience negotiating complex contract terms and leading redlines processes
  • Executive presence and confidence communicating with senior stakeholders
  • Exceptional presentation, writing, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient in Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant tools
  • Passion for growth, partnerships, and high performance
