About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer/Drafter with experience usingRhino 3D (Robert McNeel & Associates software)for 3D modeling and drafting. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of 3D design principles and be capable of creating accurate and detailed models. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Create3D models and technical drawingsusing Rhino 3D.
- Developdetailed CAD designsbased on project specifications.
- Work collaboratively with engineers, designers, and project teams to meet design requirements.
- Ensureaccuracy and precisionin all drawings and models.
- Modify and update existing designs as needed.
- Maintainfile organizationand documentation for design iterations.
- Providesupport and recommendationson design feasibility and improvements.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Rhino 3Dfor 3D modeling and drafting.
- Experience withtechnical drawing, rendering, and drafting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge ofdesign principles, materials, and fabrication processes.
- Ability to interprettechnical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with additional CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus but not required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background inarchitecture, industrial design, product design, or engineering.
- Previous experience working inmanufacturing, fabrication, or design firms.
- Understanding of3D printing and prototypingprocesses.
