OpenLoop is looking for a Business Development Representative to join our team at our HQ in Des Moines, IA. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential customers. You will identify, qualify, and generate new business opportunities by working closely with marketing and sales teams. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on building relationships, is highly motivated, and has a passion for driving growth.
What You’ll Do:
- Prospect and generate new leads through outbound calls, emails, and social media.
- Qualify inbound leads and determine sales opportunities.
- Set up meetings or calls between prospects and the sales team.
- Maintain detailed records in the CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Collaborate with marketing to support campaign execution and improve outreach strategies.
- Research accounts and stay informed on industry trends.
- Help build a strong pipeline of opportunities to support the sales team in achieving revenue goals.
- Other duties as assigned
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in sales, marketing, or business.
- Local to the Des Moines area, and willing to work onsite in a hybrid capacity.
- 0-1 years in a sales or lead generation role preferred, but not required.
- Involvement in college athletics, clubs, fraternities, or sororities strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable with cold outreach and handling objections.
- Self-starter with a team-player mindset.
- Experience with CRM systems is a plus.
