The Business Analyst will act as the liaison between the organization’s business objectives and information technology capabilities. They will help the organization cost-effectively implement technology solutions by eliciting detailed business requirements from project stakeholders. The Business Analyst works across all levels of the organization and may be involved in everything from documenting strategy, coordinating user acceptance testing, defining the goals and requirements for programs and projects, to supporting continuous improvement in technology and processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with key stakeholders to understand business processes, define data/reporting needs, and identify areas ripe for improvement
  • Translate complex, ambiguous, and sometimes competing business problems into clear and concise requirements
  • Work with stakeholders and project teams to prioritize collected requirements
  • Research, review, and analyze requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, and conformity to standards
  • Translate conceptual requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers or process improvement leaders, as applicable
  • Support and assist the solution development and implementation process by providing clarification, managing expectations, and updating changing requirements as applicable
  • Assess solutions to ensure goals are met and requirements are satisfied
  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders in creation, evaluation, and execution of user acceptance testing
  • Participate in development of standard methods, tools, and best practices for department
  • Work closely with end users and training to make sure all changes have been made to ensure successful implementation
  • Facilitate establishment of measurable success criteria
Requirements

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and the ability to connect the dots
  • Working knowledge of integrations, technical concepts, technical terminology, and project methodologies including, but not limited to Waterfall and Agile
  • Experience working on medium to large scale projects and/or implementing enterprise software solutions
  • Ability to work cross functionally using strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Thorough understanding of common business operations spanning Lead to Cash
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills

EDUCATION & TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1-3 years business analysis or related experience
  • Computer experience/skill with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, & Outlook) as well as other industry related software
  • Six Sigma Training or Certification desired but not required

LOCATION (WHERE WILL YOU BE WORKING?):

  • This position is 100% remote that supports east to west coast time zones.
