Job Description:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage the complex financial landscape of our multi-faceted online business empire. You’ll be at the forefront of financial management for cutting-edge digital marketing ventures, handling everything from daily sales reports to comprehensive annual financial statements. Responsibilities:
- Compile and analyze daily reports on costs, sales, and pre-net profit across multiple revenue streams
- Create detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with drill-down capabilities
- Manage finances for multiple companies, partnerships, and business ventures
- Track and reconcile transactions from various sources including multiple bank accounts, credit cards, and online payment platforms
- Develop and maintain a hierarchical financial reporting structure for in-depth analysis
- Monitor and optimize cash flow across different business entities
- Assist in financial decision-making by providing actionable insights from financial data
- Collaborate with the business owner and partners to streamline financial processes
- Prepare year-end financial statements for CPA review
Requirements
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, preferably in the digital marketing or online business sector
- Strong proficiency in financial reporting and data organization
- Familiarity with various online payment systems and e-commerce platforms
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and willingness to learn new accounting software as needed
- Understanding of AI tools and their application in financial tasks
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with business owners and partners
- Adaptability to work with evolving business models and financial structures in the fast-paced digital marketing industry
