Description
We're seeking an Automation Architect to manage the designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions using UiPath technologies. This role requires a deep understanding of automation frameworks, a strong background in UiPath, and the ability to lead and mentor a team of developers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and architect automation solutions using UiPath technologies, including Studio, Robots, and Orchestrator.
- Lead the development and implementation of automation projects, ensuring they meet business requirements and are delivered on time.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and develop strategies to optimize processes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and other team members. - Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to automation solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in automation technologies and UiPath.
- Develop strategies to automate processes within our healthcare and academic settings.
- Recommend and execute a continuous technology roadmap to ensure innovation and advancement of our automation footprint.
- Evaluate existing tools continuously to ensure alignment with our objectives and vision.
- Partner with Digital teams, operations leadership, and other stakeholders to understand use cases and priorities, outlining the roadmap progression for each use case.
- Establish guidelines for developing and designing automation solutions, improving efficiency, and creating consistencies for sustainable automation solutions.
- Ensure the selection of the right tool or technology for each automation to ensure effective and sustainable solutions.
- Develop materials to train employees on new technologies and mentor and coach team members.
- Implement risk-based testing approaches.
- Maintain an expert level of knowledge in new applications, tools, and technologies, leveraging that knowledge to solve business problems.
- Lead and conduct research in automation techniques to improve application performance, efficiency, and testing.
- Collaborate with IT teams to establish and follow standard processes for evaluating new applications, developing selection criteria, and establishing implementation guidelines driven by business requirements.
- Document flow charts, context diagrams, or other system-related architectures.
- Maintain documentation of application and technology interoperability along with standards for selection and deployment methodologies.
- Provide production support in a 7 X 24 Tier 1 environment, supporting all maintenance and critical business systems.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience.
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
- Eight years of related Information Technology experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Experience with automation design, development, and optimization from business requirements through day-to-day management.
- Proven record of effectively communicating at all organizational levels, understanding the Institution's business, missions, and goals, and translating those goals into information technology initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; must have a high level of judgment, decision-making, discretion, and integrity.
- Experience managing and working knowledge of a variety of platforms and system deployment in a heterogeneous environment with a clear vision of how to use information technology to improve productivity, performance, and delivery of service.
- Proven experience as an Automation Architect or similar role, with a strong background in UiPath.
- UiPath Certified Professional Automation Developer Professional or UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD) certification is highly desirable.
- Experience with other automation tools and technologies is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.

- Strong and effective communication skills, with an ability to delegate.
- Ability to assess current business processes and identify problems.
Preferred Qualifications & Certifications:
- Scrum Master or Professional Scrum Developer Certification preferred.
- Certifications: Certified Automation Professional (CAP), Certified Software Tester (CSTE), Certified Robotics System Architect, UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD), or UiPath Certified Professional Automation Developer Professional strongly preferred (Other related certifications would be considered).
- Willingness to obtain UiPath Certified Professional Automation Developer Professional certification.
