Philippines onlyVirtueStaff is in search of a creative and detail-oriented App Designer to join our expanding team. In this role, you will focus on designing user-friendly interfaces that enhance the user experience of our software applications. By collaborating closely with developers and stakeholders, you will help create visually appealing and functional designs that align with user needs and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for software applications, considering user experience principles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to gather requirements and develop design solutions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design concepts
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs
- Establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to keep designs innovative and up-to-date
- Work closely with developers during the implementation phase to ensure design fidelity
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field
- Proven experience as an App Designer or in a similar role
- Strong portfolio showcasing user interface designs and design projects
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch
- Solid understanding of user experience (UX) principles and best practices
- Experience with creating wireframes and prototypes
- Strong communication skills, capable of articulating design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing requirements
- Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
- Experience with usability testing and user research methods
