About the Role

Our client is seeking an expert-level animator for a long-term, remote collaboration on a personal project. The project involves adapting the zombie survival comic "Armageddon Asylum" into an animated series, utilising anime-style animation techniques. This opportunity offers a chance for a skilled animator to contribute significantly to a unique and engaging narrative project, with the potential for an extended professional relationship.

Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality anime-style animations based on the "Armageddon Asylum" comic
• Develop character animations that capture the essence of the comic's style and narrative
• Design and animate dynamic action sequences appropriate for a zombie survival story
• Collaborate closely with the project owner to ensure the animation aligns with the original vision

Requirements

• Proven expertise in anime-style animation with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in animation, preferably including work on narrative projects
• Advanced proficiency in industry-standard animation software
• In-depth understanding of animation principles, timing, and movement specific to anime style
